CHRISTOPHERDWYER

Christopher Dwyer

Chris Dwyer's extensive experience is a blend of business management, educational administration, and international development. He leverages his knowledge to assist nonprofit organizations in creating identity awareness, addressing community needs, and ensuring long-term financial stability.

Before launching his consulting practice, Chris served as the Chief Collection Administrator for the Commissariat of the Holy Land in Washington DC. In this role, he led the global coordination of English-speaking countries for the Vatican's multi-million-dollar Pontifical Good Friday Collection. Prior to that, he was the Director of Business and Operations at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America, where he oversaw the business operations of this Jerusalem-based nonprofit that provides humanitarian and world-heritage preservation efforts via the Franciscan Friars of the Holy Land.

Before joining the Monastery, Chris served as the head of The Conservatory, a renowned arts education institution in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In less than five years, he successfully grew the business by more than double by expanding the delivery of musical and visual arts education, as well as innovative arts therapy to individuals and organizations in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Chris' nonprofit expertise was honed over the decade prior to The Conservatory as the development director for Child, Home & Community, Inc., a social service agency in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was instrumental in increasing the organization's capacity through strategic marketing and relationship building with foundations, businesses, and local community partners.

Chris began his career as the co-founder of a graphic design and marketing firm that serviced the east coast of the United States. He eventually sold the firm, but the experience provided him with a unique understanding of brand management and identity messaging, which he continues to use today with all of his clients.

Chris remains actively engaged with numerous organizations, lending his skills to nonprofits to ensure their ability to address problems and be a long-term viable business. He always remains mindful that with every nonprofit, "after all, it's a business."
